While watching the Super Bowl, most people are excited and look forward to the commercials. They want to see how amazing these companies can advertise knowing that they spend millions of dollars to have a small slot on national television. Super Bowl commercials catch the attention of most of the world, while costing the companies millions of dollars for a short air time. These commercials need to have a great eye catching and need for more sense to the viewers to be a success. This "Doritos" commercial is geared towards doing just that. In this commercial they are using the need to aggress, the need to achieve, and the need to dominate to pull their viewers in for more. The commercial presents "Doritos," a well known and tasteful chip that millions love. This commercial catches the attention of most of the world by using a family setting. The commercial uses the basic appeal of “Need to aggress”, by using two young boys fighting for a bag of chips. They use these two brothers as the center of their commercial; these brothers as any normal sibling rival try and beat each other to the chips. The commercial starts with two brothers playing outside and the oldest child sitting on a lawn chair playing with electronics and the youngest dressed up and pretending to be a cowboy. Their mother comes home from the grocery store and asks for help carrying in the groceries. The oldest son responds being disrespectful when she asks for help. Once she informs them that she has Doritos and they won’t get any then the boys perk up and look at each other ready to race to get to the chips first. The older brother takes a head start, only to be out run by his younger brother riding their family dog like a cowboy would ride a horse. The younger brother wins the race and ropes his older brother up like cattle.
