As many begin their college career, some students don't know what will lie ahead in their paths. Some might have a firm and tight grip on what they have in mind for their profession. Others are still in exploratory studies. Lucky for everyone, there's a vast majority of different professions, one of those professions including a Lawyer. A lawyer, by definition, is someone whose profession is to conduct lawsuits for clients or advises as to legal rights and obligations in other matters (Merriam-Webster). Now as with all different professions, there come different requirements, processes of interviews, basically the whole nine yards. Now each state here in the United States sets their rules and requirements on becoming a Lawyer. For all intents of purposes, focusing on the requirements to be a lawyer in Kansas are: 1. Get a Kansas Pre-Law Education. 2. Take the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) in Kansas 3. Go to Law School. 4. Take the Kansas State Bar Exam and become an Attorney. On point number one, what Pre-Law Education means is having an undergraduate degree in anything from Sociology and Communications, to Political Science and Economics (Lawyer Edu Kansas). Next is to take the LSAT. There are different types of preps and workshops to get you ready and prepared. On this exam there will be different sections in which you will be given 35 minutes to complete. The Sections are Logical reasoning, the "argument  section. Next is Analytical reasoning, consisting of problems being presented in which you must describe different relationships. Another is Reading Comprehension, in which you interpret and read different texts, whether they may or not be Law related. Finally is the writing sample. This will not be scored as part of LSAT, but will be sent to the University you plan to attend so they may review it (Lawyer Edu Kansas). Point three is of course go a to Law School.
