According to Ian Murnaghan, animal experimentation is thought necessary for human’s health or well-beings, meaning that many members of public or scientific communities agree with using animals for testing. One of the most important disadvantages of animal experimentation is that it does not give human informative results. This is because there are very obvious biological differences between human and animals. For example, when conducting animal experiments, scientists usually use rats or mice on which 85 percent of experiments are conducted, yet human are very different from rats or mice. In contrast, scientists argue that they have better models chimpanzees than rats or mice.
