This chapter presents the method of research, subject, gathering instrument and statistical analysis. It also presents the procedure which has been made by the researchers. Method and Technique of the Study This study used a descriptive method in which it is an investigation designed to discuss or explain the existing condition. The terms indicated the aspect of the nature of investigation. It denotes a procedure which seeks to describe or determine with the use of qualitative or verbal language. According to Aquino as cited by Vitug (2004), descriptive research is fact-finding with adequate interpretation. The descriptive is something more and beyond just data gathering. The meaning of data collected should be reported from point of view of objects and their basic assumption of the project underway. This follows logically after classification of data. According to Baker (2002), defines descriptive research undertaken to describe a problem or issues and so provide background and content for person unfamiliar with a situation. That is often provided at the beginning of a research report or a research brief as the basis for more detailed analysis using quantitative data. Population and Sample of the Study This study involved twenty six elementary pupils of grade V in Pantalan Bago Elementary School, Orani, Bataan. Research Instrument The instrument utilized by the researchers was the questionnaire in the form of checklist as they measuring instrument in gathering data. Questionnaire is a list of question, usually printed, submitted or given for pupils to have replies, and that response will be analyzed for usable information. The questionnaire consists of two parts. The first consists of the 6 items based on the study habits of Grade V pupils in Pantalan Bago Elementary School, Orani, Bataan. The last part was also a checklist regarding effects of the study habits in their academic performance. Each item in the questionnaire may be ra
