When a culture is shown that something is easier or quicker, of course it is something that is taken advantage of and used. In the case that small indigenous cultures lose autonomy with the introduction of large western culture is absolutely ridiculous and wrong. Cultures chose what their cultural identity is and they chose what pop culture is and what folk culture is. Moreover, indigenous tribes are only as susceptible to customs that were placed by western thinking if they have a reasonable doubt that they are wrong.
