There are many ways to ingest marijuana. You can roll it up into a cigarette, bake it into several different treats, you can smoke it out of a bong, etc.. Marijuana is the most common illicit drug in the United States of America. There are several names for Marijuana, like ganja, weed, dope, 420, grass, etc., and doesn't have that many negative effects on the brain. As the THC enters the brain, you experience a high, relaxation is another effect that marijuana effects on you. Some other effects for some different users are, heightened sensory perception, laughter, altered perception of time, increased appetite (munchies), etc. But after all that ends, and the THC wears off, most people tend to feel depressed or very sleepy. It's obvious that marijuana is not the worst drug for you, and everybody claims that it's harmless. Some people even say it increases your amount of brain cells the more you ingest marijuana, some say it kills brain cells, but actually neither of those are true. Whether you smoke or eat marijuana you're not going to kill any brain cells. The only way you can kill brain cells from smoking marijuana is a lack of oxygen (hypoxia), which is what you get from the smoke of the marijuana. So as you can assume, ingesting marijuana is better on the brain than smoking it. Marijuana also has several benefits to people who have illnesses or diseases, or in some cases even cancer, and more than 20 states in the United States of America have legalized not only for medical reasons but they also made it recreational as well. It's been used to treat Glaucoma (basically preventing blindness). It may also help with the improvement of lung health, as well as helping people with epilepsy, by controlling excitability and regulating relaxation.
