Slavery is still around; just in a different form that of human trafficking, human trafficking does not give one their freedom, rights, or expression. In comparing the American porn industry with the overseas prostitution industry I believe there is a huge difference in the two worlds. Here in the United States people actually dream of having a job in the porn industry while there are some young people that get sucked into the dark lifestyle they still are American citizens with a voice and have the choice of that path into adult entertainment. On the other hand girls, who are stolen, raped, beaten and sold by their loved ones. Overseas it is a very common thing for poor people in different countries. It is not fair but seen as the right thing to do to make ends meet in some family households. If girls were given more of an opportunity to have a life outside of human slavery I believe that path would not be chosen. The relationships and qualities that come out of a person are not positive in any affect. Women are seen as second class citizens while being thrown into these horrible lifestyles. If a woman were to get out of the lifestyle how would that girl or women look at a relationship with a man. I believe she would always feel she owes him something and that type of outlook on men can never be positive in a relationship setting. While the people who are running these brothels and hotels are getting rich and yes it may be good for them but I do not believe a few dollars will lead that “mother” of the brothel far in her life. She will one day need more than money and need more of an emotional state of being with oneself. It also seems as though the government probably gets money off of these sex slavery rings while others try to cover it up. It is not a good thing for anyone, sex slaves, owners, or the purchasers of the young girls. We all take our freedom for granted and yes porn does happen in America and some sex slavery but
