Decisions are a part of everyday life. Making a decision is not easy, especially when there are no precedents to guide you. Even when a decision is difficult or complex, the decision maker must gather the best information they can and just do it. That is pretty much the route I took when I decided to go back to school. When I was in highschool, I never really cared about my education. I was more concerned with my social status, which lead to me dropping out and getting my GED. It wasn't until I got married that I realized a GED was not going to get me my dream job. My decision to go back to school was difficult. I wasn't real sure where I wanted to go and what field of study I wanted to get into. Plus, there were so many other factors, like how will this affect my time and my family. I needed to weigh all the positives and negatives before I can make this decision. First, I needed to decide what school I wanted to attend. I looked into two different schools and decided that ITT Technical Institute would work best for me and my kid's schedule. Next, I needed to decide on a field of study. I chose Business Management because that's what interested me most. Now, that I was done with my researching where and what I was going to school for, I sat down with my family and weighed out all the positives and negatives about the decision. I know that going back to school would better my chances of getting my dream job, but I was still worried about how my past experiences in high school had affected my decision to go back sooner. I thought about the decision, analyzed all the possibilities, and the things that would affect the decision and finally came to the decision to attend school. I did pretty well too, I graduated top of my class, which lead into pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Conclusion I think that I followed most of the steps that were included in the text. My problem was I would not be able to find a decent paying career
