In our society, we have been told to go to college and your life will be very successful. This has been told to generations and generations, but is this really the only way? The answer to that question is no. Many people never even go to college and our very successful. Although colleges help out with jobs, it is not necessary to get a college degree to be successful in life. In Germany, 97% of students graduate high school but only a third go to college. This isn't because they're dumb, they do this because they realize there are better options than going to college. Many teenagers instead of going to college go to apprentice programs instead.
