"Dracula's Guest," is a deleted chapter from Bram Stoker's legendary novel "Dracula - which was written with the rest of the story but omitted from the final version, published in 1897. Although it was left out of the book, the story was eventually published in 1914 in Dracula's Guest and Other Weird Tales. The story talks about the adventurous Englishman who ended up wounded by letting his curiosity get the best of him but was saved by a letter from an unknown man, Dracula. "Dracula's Guest is a gripping and awesome story that builds up a suspenseful atmosphere and mysterious mood and it is also a very chilling tale. Stoker's writing style makes his story marvelous, clear and particular in every scene while including the idea of humanity among people. "Dracula's Guest is about an Englishman - whose name was never mentioned in the story - that stopped in Munich before continuing on his way to Transylvania. He spotted an abandoned road while he was travelling, and in spite of his driver's warnings that it was "Walpurgisnacht , which means the night evil comes out, he decided to walk down the path alone, leaving his frightened driver behind. What he found at the end of the road was a ruined and desolate village. Trapped by a snowstorm, he was forced into the haunted tomb of Countess Dolingen of Gratz, and upon her tomb was an inscription which reads "THE DEAD TRAVEL FAST . The force of thunder had destroyed the forbidden tomb and caused the Englishman to pass out. During his blackout, he was dragged away by a gigantic wolf, but a search party of soldiers arrived, and rescued the Englishman in the nick of time. When he was taken back to the hotel safely, he was informed by Herr Delbruck, the owner of the hotel where he was staying, that he was saved by the telegram from an unknown man, Dracula. The story is truly an amazing and attractive story. Even though it is only eight pages long, it will keeps my heart rate up. Stoker keeps people interested by building up a tense atmosphere and obscure mood, the main factors of the story. The first mysterious scene that pokes readers' curiosity is the warning of Herr Delbruck about "Walpurgisnacht . "Walpurgisnacht is German, it means Walpurgis Night. Walpurgis Night was when, according to the belief of millions of people, the devil was abroad “ "when the graves were opened and the dead came forth and walked. When all evil things of earth and air and water held revel. I only understood the meaning of "Walpurgis Na
