Baseball is one of the toughest sports to play. Athletes think they're able to hit the ball, field a ball cleanly and be good as can be at every aspect in the sport. It is one of the toughest sports to play, not just physically playing the game, but the mental aspect as well. Baseball players everywhere would agree that the game eighty percent mental and twenty percent skill. In all honesty, not a single person could win a baseball game if they did not prepare the correct way such as preparing for an opponent and what goes in the preparation. Going out there and playing the game is easy, but to go out to try to beat a team and make a statement takes preparation. The first good way to prepare for an opponent is to go over a play-by-play sheet from the opponent's previous games. A team can pinpoint where a certain player might like to hit the ball if a team looks at a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will show where the team's players have hit the ball throughout the season. If a certain player hits the ball to the right side of the field seventy-five percent of the time, then the defense will want to have the outfield and infield shift to the right.
