There are several questions which have been asked by people about genetically modified (GM) food: Considering this: what is GM food? Is GM food safe? What is the benefit of GM food? GM is one of the most important issues around the world. GM is food that has been altered through genetic engineering techniques; these techniques allow scientists to "cut and paste" DNA from one organism to another in order to create a new hybrid (History of genetics 2012). GM has raised concerns over their own benefits in that it is resistant to disease, helps humans suffering from famine, produces greater yields, and improves the nutrition of foods. Having foods is very important to human life to maintain good health and to survive. Consequently, GM food should not be banned for three reasons: higher yields, better nutrition and better safety. . First of all, many research claim that GM food provides higher yields.
