A Lesson in Love

True love is honest. True love is freedom. True love is pure happiness. Love is the care, concern, and sacrifice towards your beloved. As depicted in Courtly Love, "Thus, to love is to suffer, to wander aimlessly, unable to concentrate on anything but the mental image of the beloved, to lose one's appetite, to lie sleepless at night-in short, to give up life for a dream (Henry M. Sayre, 166). The meaning of true love or the ideal of love will always somehow relate and remain the same. Though, as the world continues to move into the modern age, love transitions and is viewed in different aspects. Love is becoming more authentic, more about lust, and more concerned about self-conscious. Despite these differences, true love undoubtedly exists. In the bible it asserts that,  "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1Corinthians 13:4-7, NIV). I do not have the personal experience of knowing what it is like to be in love, but I know that it is mainly about trusting, comprehending, deeply caring about each other. You love your beloved in the purest most genuine way. If you are not jealous, it does not mean you love them less or simply, do not love them at all. It means that your trust towards that person is stronger than anything getting in between a hardworking relationship. Furthermore, rule number 21 argues that, "Real jealousy always increases the feeling of love (Capellanus, 1174). What is real jealousy? I do not disagree with this statement, but neither do I agree. It is acceptable and reasonable for you or your partner to become jealous occasionally. Jealousy may often be mistaken by true love instead of intimidated
