What is a probable cause of Marilyn Monroe’s death? Although there are many people who believe Marilyn Monroe committed suicide, there’s evidence that shows Monroe was murdered. The police reports show evidence, there was a bug device in her home stating there was a loud conflict and she was muffled to calm her down, and Bobby Kennedy was there the day she died. Monroe’s housekeeper Murray had spoken to Monroe after she had got a call from her ex-husband’s son Joe DiMaggio Junior. Murray stated that she didn’t “sound like Marilyn.” She had sounded depressed and her words were slurred. Murray said “She told me that we were not going to the beach the next day. We had planned to I don’t know what changed her mind. That’s when she closed the door.” That was the last time Murray saw her alive. Murray first said in the police report she had noticed a light coming from beneath her door at midnight. Murray called Monroe’s psychiatrist Ralph Greenson. Greenson then came over around half past midnight, looked through the actress’s window and saw her naked in bed. He then broke in through her window and he “found her lifeless”. Greenson called the doctor, who had prescribed her sleeping pills, and she was pronounced dead. Although all of this occurred around midnight, police were not called until 4:25 A.M. The doctors claimed “they needed permission from the publicity department of 20th Century Fox before involving the law.” Police officer Jack Clemmons found that many parts of Murray’s story didn’t add up. Murray claimed that light was visible below the door, but the carpet was too high for light to be visible. Not only did her story not add up, Officer Clemmons found Murray “inexplicably doing household chores.” when he arrived.
