Disobedience is known as a refusal to obey. When people practice civil disobedience, laws are often broken and boundaries are crossed resulting in potential disorder and future governmental actions. Action is taken to bring about a change. Furthermore, the action taken must be under control. As soon as a crowd becomes unruly, disorganized, or violent in any way, the action ceases to be civil. College student Nathaniel Heatwole will go to trial for smuggling prohibited items onto an airliner. The 20-year-old smuggled bleach, matches, molding clay and box cutters onto six Southwest Airlines flights from February to April. As a result, he might face up to 10 years in prison. Even though Heatwole's act was largely a ploy for 15 minutes of fame, it ultimately did reinforce that airport safety has not, and perhaps cannot, markedly improve (student charge). Nathaniel Heatwoles obviously was a concerned citizen believing that a lot of the hoops people jump through in order to board an airplane were just facades to give the public a warm, fuzzy feeling of safety. He proved that this was false by showing the inefficiency of airport security through an embarrassment of the TSA, which stands for Transportation Security Administration. The general citizen supported the actions taken by him as they said, "we may learn something" from this incident. Agreeing on the fact that Heatwole is not a terrorist, but rather a concerned citizen, people argued that his actions should be questioned, but can also be explained. Heatwole thought about possibilities to point out all the weaknesses airport security has and he eventually came up with the idea to smuggle fake explosives into planes which of course is questionable, but definitely fulfilled its purpose of creating world wide awareness . Similar to Heatwoles actions, Henry David Thoreau did not agree with the governments decision on specific taxes. Thoreau did not agree that the government expected him to pay taxes for something he did not want to pay . Thus, Thoreau decided to face any consequence by questioning the governments decision. The two revolutionists, Heatwo
