Introduction The purpose of this document is to state the problem clearly and outline the objectives the software will be built to achieve. With any development project, there will be constraints which will be identified in this document as well. In this project the waterfall model is used. This approach was taken because of its advantages to this project which was the departmentalization and managerial control. A schedule can be set with deadlines for each stage of development and a product can proceed through the development process like a car in a carwash, and theoretically, be delivered on time. Development moves from concept, through design, implementation, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and ends up at operation and maintenance. Each phase of development proceeds in strict order, without any overlapping or  iterative  steps. Comments: More can be added- pull from the slides 5 (waterfall) and 6 (requirement documents) Problem Statement The top level management at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill has recognized that in this global economic crisis, students at the UWI are struggling to buy textbooks and find part/full time employment, especially now since tuition fees has been increased recently. Additionally, the university would like to restructure the campus' shuttle service but there are no means by which students can formally review.
