When Christopher Columbus discovered the New Word in 1492, he saw that the following times was a great opportunity for trades, religion, wealth, politics, and many more goods fortunes for years to come. In the spread of religious beliefs, many explorers were successful in introducing the evangelical faith to the New World. The essay will only focus on the contrast between Spain and England colonization of the New World. Before the Spaniards set sail for the New World, the king of Spain set a task for Christopher Columbus to find gold. Wealth and Glory is what the king expected. The Spaniards were very brutal rulers of the New World, including exploitation of the land, resources, and even enslaving the natives. Spain used the natives for the entire tribal killings, as they knew the native has their own enemies and they took advantage of the natives. In addition to that, the Spanish also brought diseases to a world that was not known to exist known as smallpox, measles, chickenpox, typhus and many more. Which the natives has week immunity to the illness the result of that is the decrease of 90% of natives in the population between the 16th and 17th centuries. The explorers, half way across the World were still ruled by the King and his laws. Any of those who apposed was subject to death. Most of the New World colonies were govern by individual mens who was appointed by the King to force his law. Most Spaniards are Catholic in faith. Protestant was not welcome and they were force to wipe them out from spreading to the new world and or even in Europe. The economics of the new world were mad up of mostly farming in the west. Many of the men sent on the voyage were mostly single and unmarried. On the other hands, unlike their Spanish neighbor, England set voyage to the New World for their riches in gold, land, communities, and the European institution. The English establish a rule that benefits the people better than the Spaniards. The
