Could a woman rule the country? Could a woman become the President of The United States? These are questions that every day society began to ask ever since the rumor of Hillary Clinton running for the presidency began spreading. Nowadays, society pays diminutive attention to women involved in politics. With that being said, women are equal to men, females are as much capable to run for election such as men, and at the same time Americans just do not know the consequences because a woman has never been elected as The President of The United States. before. First, women are now free to vote, work, speak; movement and all the basic fundamental desires are free and available to every woman of the world. Women are now free to go to work, attain education in whatever field they desire and above all women are now provided equal opportunities and privileges, which were once only available to the men. Zernike discusses that "polls suggest that the country is ready to elect a woman (Zernike),  Females have always been seen as the weak sex, even politics. For instance, the author of "She Just Might Be President,  illustrates how "when we look at women in state legislatures, they're much more likely than their male colleagues to need to be asked to run (Goodwin).  Men are assumed to be qualified, but women have to prove they are. Moreover, a female is capable of anything. Schnall illustrates how "We need women and girls to see themselves as leaders, break out of stereotypical role and value their own voices and visions (Schnall),  society needs to stop stereotyping and support ambitious women. Probably the next female president might be from the South or from the West, but she will prove to the nation that she is a "fighter (Traister),  oh, and she may not exist.
