Tommy Hilfiger stated that "The road to success is not easy to navigate, but with hard work, drive and passion, it's possible to achieve the American dream.  What he meant by this was to make your dreams come true it isn't easy, but being determined and willing to achieve it no matter the situation that it is possible. America is known for the freedom and opportunity, to live the American dream! Having the opportunity to interview a few people and realizing the reality of this "American Dream  has opened up my eyes to many things. I had the chance to interview two lovely ladies named, Helen Balog and Nancy Luther and let me tell you, it was so great to sit and listen. I got to realize how fortunate my generation is, and that people take many things for granted. Mrs. Helen Balog, 73 years of age and living miserably, well so I thought. I never thought that on September 12, 2014 at 6:36 P.M. that I would end up interviewing this woman on dreams. Helen lives across the street from me, I've observed that she puts her trash outside at 6:30 p.m. every Friday, while she always has this look of indifference. I think our entire neighborhood is frightened by her! Little did I know that this interview would have changed my perspective on how I observed people for the rest of my life. I approached Helen asking if she would mind if I interviewed her for a school project, surprisingly she agreed with a smile. I was offered to come inside to the kitchen where we started, " Would you like tea, coffee, water?  She asked. " No thanks!  I exclaimed. I asked question, Helen responded " My perfect dream ¦ hmmm. It would have to be a dream because it will never happen, but it is to be spending it with my husband in New england enjoying a scenic view. I would love nothing more.  I truly couldn't believe she even had an idea of a dream, her first impression is completely opposite. We go right into the next question that if she is living the Ameri
