People come from all over the world to begin a life in the United States. The diverse cultures are lured to this country for one known reason, for its riches and freedom in which all men and women are created equal. Everyone's dream to follow the American Dream. The pursuit of happiness is a common dream amongst all Americans, which is more hen often displayed all around us advertisements have always pained a vivid picture of what's hot and what's not. Americans are portrayed o live an easy, rich, glamourous life. A lot of our advertising is mainly focused on the young generation and male generation Women are mainly advertised magazines, bill boards, television, and music. The Tom Fred advertisement displays eight lovely women from diverse cultures all in their prime and standing tall in a confident stance. Although, this advertisement also displays various culture myths like sex appeal, empowerment, and independence and yet also reflect heir famine side. The media has always displayed a women as the common house wife, but after time the women role has now been stretched out to displaying an image as an independent individual, and often mistaken for a whore. Since we can remember women were naturally given the role of nurturing, caring, not being able to express their thoughts. It's a typical gender role that many women still take part in till this very day. The first women in my advertisement is elegantly dressed, showing a more amid, conservative side. She shows off nothing but her face made up of natural skin tone make up, with a modern red lip. He model is draped in a fully covered black dress, complimented by her circle like dangling gold earrings. She resembles a modern classy house wife who is submissive o her husband. Her stance is closed off yet holds an intimidated almost vulnerable facial expression.
