Critical Essay Freedom is the most important thing for a human being. Freedom means to a human being is to feel safe and secure in their country. It is also to have the right to make their own decisions and choices and to do things they are comfortable of doing. The influences in people's lives can affect them in many ways that may change their personality. The people that live their life may encounter situations that can affect their personality and behavior, which can change who they have been and will become, develop personalities. Therefore in the story of "The Man Who Was Put in a Cage by Rollo May explains how a man that was put in a cage reacts if his entire freedom is taking away completely. An experiment that is conducted by the king chooses a man that he sees every evening walking back to his home on the same path every day, that the king assumes he has a nice life with a family. In that mind of the king he now thinks about what if he tries to take the man and put him a cage and tries to see the behavioral changes of the man. Those behavior changes will be the results of not having the freedom he use to have before he was taken away by the king. In addition, the king could not go on with experiment without inviting a psychologist that can inform him the results of the experiment. After taking the man and by placing him in a cage, of course, there will be anger and yelling involved because who would not be mad by putting in a cage for no reason.
