Closing Chapters Eighth Grade At the local junior high, many people there were familiar faces from elementary schools all over the city. This year didn't seem the same as the rest of my junior high years; this year was different. Cheerleading tryouts were right around the corner and this was something serious. "Are you trying out for cheerleading ?  I asked one of the girls in my biology class. "Yeah, but I'm super nervous because I don't think I'll make it,  said the girl. I waited nervously as cheerleading tryouts finally came along. Finally, it's tryout time and emotions race to me immediately. Most of the girls trying out were way bigger than I was and experience from previous years so they had a guaranteed spot. The next day results were posted and I've never been so excited in my life. I made the team and felt like I was apart of something big. Popularity here I come. A Fresh Start Ninth Grade At Carman Ainsworth High School everything just seemed so much bigger, more people, teachers, and more activities to get into. This year I had grown to be popular from my eighth grade year. As me and my best friend walked through the hallway we quickly became known as the freshman twins even though we weren't even related. The year went on and the homecoming dance had approached. I wasn't really sure if I would go though since every guy was too scared to asked girls to the dance. The day of homecoming I decided that I would go to my first high school dance and it was horrible. I had to get a ugly last minute dress and the music they played was awful. The Struggle Tenth Grade I passed through the year easily with completing everything on time, keeping my grades up, and going to class. Then obstacle after obstacle started rolling in . First, the house that I lived in all my life we had to move out of because my dad last his job. Afterwards, my parents were on the rocks and soon came another obstacle.
