Linda Chavez wrote an article about Hispanics with a future on coming here to the US. She states that most of Hispanics come to the US for a better future, but what happens to those who get reported back to Mexico knowing that their kids were born in the US. Well Chavez specifically states that Hispanics shouldn't get deported back to their home country because in a way they benefit the US. Hispanics also have a very common trait as Native American people like supporting themselves economically, educationally and have family values just like any other culture in the world today. Although Latinos earn less then the average Native American most of them end up working in hard labor and as Chavez said 94% of males work in hard labor compared with 83% of the males that were born here in the US. And from personal experience these facts are true and can tell you that my dad is a legal citizen but even though he works in hard labor to support our family with food, water, and a house. My own experience is that I go to college and help my dad work in his company because he has his own landscaping company and I help and you can see that I'm also working hard with my dad and still going to school for a better future. Illegal immigrants never fully do so well in terms of education and end up dropping out of school to go to the work force. But there is a miracle because half of these illegal immigrants between ages of 18 to 24 do have a high school diploma and also attend college also Chavez states that a surprising 25% of illegal immigrant adults have at least some college education with 15% having successfully completed college. Immigration has very strong restrictions towards illegal immigrants and to them it seems very harsh and cruel and these Hispanics respond in a way that makes you feel sad for them.
