In general terms student are willing to join in cultural activities, meet local people, try local food, among others, and tourism definitely is part of it. 5.1 ARRIVALS: Travel to obtain an education abroad has became in a trend, the number of people who enrolled in a institution abroad to obtain a formal education is definitely enormous, where the younger generations have been more exposed to this trend than the elder ones in terms of comparisons. New Zealand's international student population has grown rapidly in recent years, with students coming from an increasingly diverse range of nationalities. Over the last five years, people from more than 180 different nationalities have been granted permits to study in New Zealand. The top 10 source countries account for over 80 percent of all international students (Education New Zealand, 2007). New Zealand has become in a host for international student from around more than hundred countries, placing the country in the top 10 list as a favourite destination. 5.2 REASONS: As it was expose before is clear that students all over the world are choosing New Zealand as a proper place to study, but behind of such a crucial decision should be a significant reasons which determinate why students are choosing New Zealand over other countries. Choose an education abroad is not a simple decision; there are a number of intrinsic and extrinsic factors which definitely will influence the decision. As it was discuses before among those reason, the most important in the host country, is the environment, the safety, the quality of education, the opportunity to gain English skills, migration opportunities, obtain a western degree and financial reasons, among others (Butcher & McGrath, 2004). Another major possible reasons can be; because they want to be open to the word, because they are looking for personal development, a frequent reason as well can be the parents desire; who consider that the abroad study experience will provide a better future for their children During the in-depth interviews, over half the participants stated that the idea of studying abroad originated from their parents (Butcher & McGrath, 2004). Before to take such a decision like that, the students will make sure that they will like the country, the agencies job is to offer all the advantages of the it, showing the student how attractive it can be, making the touristic attractions part of it.
