The word "bionic" means an electronic device and mechanical parts to assist humans in performing difficult, dangerous or intricate tasks, as by supplementing or duplicating parts of the body. When we think about bionics we generally came up with an artificial arm or leg that is worn outside the body, which are essentially enhanced to carry out certain routine tasks. These are essentially life systems that are powered by motors and sensory arrays. These send neural signals from affected part of the body to the brain, by which are individual are able to perform certain tasks independently. The bionic are beginning to bridge the gap between disability and ability between human limitation and human potential. There is an interesting talk about the bionic legs by Hugh Herr who lost his both legs in a climbing accident due to the tissue damage, 30 years ago; now he is the head of MIT Media Lab’s Biomechatronics group. In his talk he tell us about the human stories of bionic integration and how electromechanics attached to the body and implanted inside the body. He tells us that with the bionic legs he can climb the straight mountain without having the muscle fatigue and which makes him stronger than before. Technology has great part in the success of the bionics legs. The world we live in, where technology is so advanced could rid the world of disability, a world in which no neural implants would allow the visually impaired to see, a world in which paralyzed could walk via body exoskeletons. Hugh tell us that at the MIT Media lab, they have established the extreme bionics and the mission of the center is to put foward fundamental science and technological capability that will allow the biomechatronic and regenerative repair of humans. Bionic leg is the best research the technology has done so far which doesn’t make people feel that they has lost their body parts and which allow them to do everything to do that they can do with the real l
