How often has he told you multiple things about lacrosse? How often has he told you to see the open player or keep an eye on the ball? Life isn't about scoring goals or dodging into your weak hand. Life is about challenges and new horizons and creating opportunities, it is about building on what you learned and employing your knowledge and experience. It is about dedication, motivation, and single-minded determination to succeed in everything. Therefore, I guess, my life is like lacrosse. What works on the lacrosse field also works in my life. Want the ball. I am the person who always says, "I can do it. I face my challenged head on and will do whatever it takes to overcome the struggles. My struggles shape who I am today. The motivated individuals are the ones who win in life and who give 110% on the field and in life. Chase my shot. I won't always score, but I will never give up. I chase after that ball and keep on trying. I live by the quote "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.  I have failed multiple times in life from my athletics to my schoolwork to my attitude. I keep on working hard until I have reached the result I want. You have to keep shooting until you get what you set out for. Move. I do not stand still in life. It is easy to defend the player who just stands around. My movement in life has created so many opportunities for me. I have gone to Haiti, became captain of the lacrosse and soccer team, and was elected the executive president of student council because I was not timid in life. You have to be the one that moves and shouts for the ball. My outgoing personality has given me these opportunities. Shake it off and move on. You lose games all the time. You have to shake it off and move on. I have had so many obstacles in my life. My best friend's brother died from cancer. That made me so much stronger in life. You can't let the obstacles break you down. You have to push through the pain and go on with lif
