?Facebook is a social-networking medium which is very useful to communicate and keep in touch with friends, families, mutual friends and acquaintances. Mark Zuckerberg is the founder and CEO of Facebook. It was invented in February 2004 by Mark, along with his college roommates and fellow Harvard University student. Facebook now has an ever-growing number of users each day. Facebook users vary from ages of all kinds. There are kids, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, middle-aged people and even senior citizens. There are no boundaries as in to who can sign up for an account of their own. All you require is an email address and a password to log in once you’ve created an account, then you’re good to go. Before inventing an account, one has to fill up some information about themselves. This is to indicate to other users who you are and make it possible for them to identify you. Though, this can be dangerous at times because giving up too much information about one’s self on the internet makes you a vulnerable victim for those conman out there. These conman are always on the look-out for their next potential victim. Once you are a Facebook user, there are possibilities you may be a victim unless you protect your privacy well. Things user tend to do on Facebook are share photos, wall posts, check-in and tagging on pics and wall posts. Once you’re officially a member of Facebook, you are vulnerable to many types of dangers posed by this social media itself and other users of this network. Individuals who are a member of Facebook are now vulnerable to dangers such as clickjacking. Clickjacking is defined as a security threat which is almost close to cross-site scripting. What takes place when clickjacking occurs is that cybercriminals use a few transparent layers to cheat the Facebook users into clicking or choosing a button, link or any form of tab. Clickjacking has various different forms of links, ranging from image links to text links. On Facebook, clickjacking is put up by scammers when scammers put fake buttons and icons to cheat people into making unwanted actions on Facebook. For example, scammers can put an invisible Facebook Like button below a different button. Then, when a user on Facebook clicks on the visible button, he is actually clicking to do something he didn’t intend to do for instance, like or share something on Facebook he didn’t intend to.
