My Perspective on Gender and Feminism

My point of view on feminism, is that feminism is an impossible question to answer, since the term has so many different meanings and interpretations, it’s just the matter of how you define the word. From my current thoughts of feminism, feminism is the thought of not to be treated unfairly less than or equal than to a human. Women should have the right to equally choose their own interests opportunities and be respected in their decisions even though it may be considered a “manly” job. My perspective on feminism is it has not only improved during the past 50-60 years but it has made a huge impact in the strong and successful women’s that we are today. It’s incredible the things we see women accomplish every day for example, Kathleen Wynne being Ontario’s first female premier or even look at Oprah Winfrey who changed the face of feminism and helped women to grow, advance and succeed. I would not want to be considered to be called a feminist because I feel that it would make me feel disconnected from this world and men as well, why is it every day we're always complaining about new problems in our society where we can think positive and just have peace. Chapter One I conducted a formal survey with my mom, sister, and my best friend younger sister After conducting my formal study between my mom and sister asking whether the campus should provide separate bathrooms for people who are transsexed or transgendered, both of their opinions appeared to be the same. They believed that campuses should not provide neutral washrooms. My sister believes that not only transsexed students should use, but for any students as well. It doesn't matter if you're lesbian or gay, there’s no difference to a lesbian using a female washroom and a gay using a male washroom.
