Success is being happy and dignified with the kind of person you are and what you have cultivated throughout your lifetime. While struggles may come your way, you can overcome adversity by pursuing your dreams and never giving on them. For instance, minorities that originate from unfortunate living situations can still manage to create unequivocal lifestyle for themselves in the future to come. Tupac Shakur is an unblemished illustration of someone who followed his dreams to led him to a better a lifestyle. Tupac experienced various adversities such as, moving frequently around in the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and the Bronx. Shakur received an education in radical internal affairs from his mother, but he also saw some of life’s persecution through her encounters with substances abuse. Through him experiencing these things he wrote down his constant wavering innervations which led musical poems. Through his musical poems he got noticed for his individuality and changed his living situation from negative to positive. Another exemplification of someone who strived through adversity is Edgar Allan Poe. Born on January 19 1809 Poe was born in Boston onto Elizabeth Arnold Poe and David Poe Jr. . In 1811, Poe’s father forsaken the family, abandoning his mother with three children. Not too soon after that, Poe’s mother perished due to the disease of tuberculosis in Richmond, Virginia emanating the split of Poe and his siblings. Poe then went off to live with a couple who were unable to have children and later put him through school. As he enrolled in school, he was rapidly rejected because of his massive amount of debt. At the time that he was experiencing these things he never gave up his devotion towards writing and literature which later alternated his lifestyle into a better one.
