Do you want to make your friends love you? Then I advise you pick up this book and read it. Dale Carnegie was an American writer and lecturer who was known as a very famous developer in the following areas: self-improvement, salesmanship, corporate training, public speaking and interpersonal skills. Carnegie was born in 1888 in Maryville, Tennessee and grew up as a very poor farmers boy. Dale and his family moved to Belton, Missouri when he was just a little child. During his teens, Carnegie still had to get up at 4am every day to milk his parent’s cows; but he still managed to obtain an education at the State Teachers College in Warrensburg. His first job after college was selling agreement courses to ranchers. He sold bacon, soap, and lard for companies. In 1912, the world famous Dale Carnegie Course was born. He authored multiple award winning books, including, “How to Win Friends and Influence people.” Over 50 million copies of Carnegie's books have been printed and published in over 30 languages. “How to win Friends and Influence People” is such an amazing book. I've heard people mention it to me for a while and thought that me reading that would never happen. The way some people talked about it made it seem like it was a book for weird people or for socially awkward people. Finally, a friend of mine recommended it to me and we started reading it in class. This is a book for everyone. It's not about being mean or admitting you're a nerd; it's about how to get along with people and approach them in the right way. Anyone who ever has problems getting along with people should read this book. Because I know I do, but this book has completely changed my perspective and made me into a better person. This book really has been a life changing book for many including for me.
