Batman is the most overrated super hero to hit theaters and comic books. Batman has gotten much attention and praise over the years for being one of the coolest super heroes. Whether it’s his night black costume, his deep demanding voice, or even his array of bat themed tools and gadgets, Batman has been regarded as a top super hero for decades. While this may seem reliable to some, I see past the initial flair that is Batman. I see a weak, power-less man, who requires the assistance of a sidekick. Batman never have had a shot at being a super hero if he didn’t inherit a fortunes worth of money. A real super hero should be a strong and humble person. They should have at least one super power, such as super strength, the ability to fly, or even elastic limbs. Additionally, they need to prove that they can effectively fight evil repeatedly. The most important aspect in being a successful super hero, is being able to accomplish tasks alone. Batman breaks this cardinal rule by teaming up with a wimpy little circus kid, Robin, to assist him in fighting evil. Not only does this show weakness, but it is incredibly pathetic. Batman does not have the potential to fight crime on his own. A true superhero always saves the world on their own. Having a sidekick, is a lame excuse to ease the process of true crime fighting. Every true super hero usually earns his or her reputation in an honorable way. Peter Parker, or Spiderman, the web slinging crime fighter, was bit by a strange mutated spider. He used the powers he was granted by the spider bite, to venture into the world. He protected citizens from the daily evils and obstacles they are faced; going out of his way and save the world from evil. Tony Stark, the Iron man, used his scientific knowledge and technological expertise to design a powerful suit that could shoot missiles, to fend off approaching villains.
