Every season of life brings joys and struggles, all of which teach me valuable lessons that shape me into the strong and mature woman God desires me to be. I am going to start from the beginning; I come from a family of eight kids ranging from the age of 26 and 6. Growing up, my parents believed that homeschooling was the best form of education. My parents wanted to not only ensure that my siblings and I all had a solid education, but they also wanted to guard our hearts and shelter us from the world as much as possible. I was homeschooled all the way up until I was in ninth grade, when I then attended a small private Christian school. I am so thankful my parents raised me the way they did, I truly believe that I am the person I am today because of them. I would say homeschooling is the first season of my life I look back at and really see how it helped me grow. I was very shy and to myself in middle school, which made me really nervous to go to a real school. However a huge part of my testimony is my switch over from homeschooling to going to private school. The school I went to, Central Texas Christian School (CTCS), made me into a strong and bold woman of God. High School was such a huge season in my life. I learned so much physically (mentally) and spiritually. CTCS prepared me not only for college but also for the world. CTCS is full of amazing teachers and coaches that challenged me not only academically but also in my faith. I learned how to make my faith my own and I was constantly striving to strengthen my relationship with God. My faith is the most important thing in my life. It is my goal to be a light for Christ and to share His truth with everyone who doesn't know it. My parents have done an amazing job raising me to be a godly woman, but I would definitely have to say that CTCS played a huge role in helping me establish my core values and morals. In High school, I took AP classes my junior and senior year, which really prepared me well and taught me great study habits. My coaches and teachers were very strict about doing the little things right and always giving 100 percent. There were a lot of rules to follow and the standard was to follow them all.
