There are many factors that contribute to stress. Some of people can't be able to reduce or cope with stress. People get upset, headache, hurting or become unconfident about themselves. Today, in our society, I think cashier in market is one of the most common jobs that is stressful. Standing for a long time without sitting down, remember all of the code of every single food and vegetable, dealing with customers are the top three reasons caused stress. First of all, a cashier has to stand up for a long time while working. They don't have a chance to sit down even a minute, especially when the market is full of customers. For example, my sister was a cashier at Thuan Phat market for two years. She has to stand up ten hours on the weekends to work, and she only has one ten minutes break. After she finishes her work, she has to suffer the pain from stand up all day. She felt stressful about this problem. Her legs hurt so bad that she couldn't pay attention to driving home. The pain from stand up all day of this job makes her felt tired and stressful. It is not a simple job as other people think. I think it is one of the most stressful jobs in our society. In addition, cashiers have to remember all of the code of every single food, vegetable or other items in the market. If the cashiers don't remember the code of any item or use the wrong code of that item thus the counting will be slow, and you will hear customers complain behind the line. They can even count the wrong total amount of money of customers. If it's going to happen, they have to use their money to supplement into the amount. Otherwise, if they count wrong amount of money, customers will yell and complain about that cashier. This gives them a lot of stress.
