Obesity is a disease where by the body fat gathered to the extent that have a negative impact or effect on person’s health condition. The population of overweight people in the country today blames the fast food restaurant, everybody have choices, and you can decided to eat healthy by choosing from their healthy menu and not going for the greasy ones. If people do not eat in fast food restaurant does not mean they are eating healthy, many people drink sodas, snack on cookies and ice cream which can increase their body weight. Fast food restaurants are usually use as a scapegoat for weight control failure, which they tend to forget that all these foods are also in grocery stores, where by people buy them and prepare it at home. The new study from the University of North Carolina shows that “even when people are not eating from fast food restaurant; they still eat food that would probably make them obese or overweight." (Jennifer P, Kiyah D & Popkin. 2014). Fast food restaurants are not responsible for the obesity epidemic, because they offer multiple menu options to the capitalist society where we get to choose what we eat. The fast food restaurants offer varieties menu options where you make your own choice on what to eat or not, whether to go for healthy food or unhealthy food. The choice is your.
