The government is wrongly invading our privacy which goes against our Fourth Amendment rights, this is wrong and needs to stop. We live in a world where the government is reading every text, email, instant message, listening into every call and much more. We are constantly under surveillance by the government. Companies are also checking in on every website you visit so that they can throw ads in our faces and try and sell us something everywhere we turn. This is unacceptable and a total invasion of our privacy. As American citizens, we need to step in and assert our rights given to us by our Founding Fathers. We need to stand up and fight for our right to privacy. To counter government surveillance and all general invasion of our privacy, we should just completely do away with the internet all together. This includes internet access to cellphones, computers, laptops, tablets, you name it. It all needs to go away for us to get our privacy back! By completely removing the internet from the picture American citizens privacy will no longer be at any sort of risk. We could sleep easy without fear of every bit of information we send out is being read by someone else it’s not intended to reach. There are several reasons I would like to list that explain why this drastic solution is going to be such a large improvement from our current situation. Firstly, by doing away with the internet there wouldn't be many ways for the government to monitor their citizens. The only way they would be able to wrongly invade our privacy, after the internet is gone, would be by intercepting phone calls or letters. This significantly lowers the amount of information that they'll be able to obtain. Secondly, with the internet gone, people will be forced to interact in person! This is another benefit, seeing that our generation is slowly drifting apart and living online, which is not the way it was meant to be. Thirdly, no one has anything to personally gain
