Death amongst children has been a major epidemic for the past 300 years. Even with the rapid global advancement in education and technology, is is still one of the most overlooked problem till day. The major factors resulting to such problems is poverty, hunger, and common diseases. This is very important to understand how and why this is still occurring as it is the cause of more than 21,000 deaths every day across the world which is almost a child dying every 4 seconds. The following information from the article should allow us to understand the reasons why such an issue is still continuing without notice and why the proper actions taken are not effective. At the end of the day, it is the thoughts and actions of each one of us that will directly and indirectly aid in helping those people and countries in need where drastic measures have to be taken to eradicate these problems step by step to progressively eliminate death amongst children across the globe. The main points in the articles I have read which I believe are very important are the reasons why children are still dying rapidly across the world. More than 2.5 billion people across the world lack access to proper sanitation methods. Such a lack makes it extremely difficult for parents of almost a billion children to raise their children with proper sanitation habits and hence are prone to diseases and illnesses much more easier and quicker as compared to those with the means to proper sanitation. Due to poverty, more than 150 million children have no access to their next meal and education itself. Without these, these problems will only continue to have negative consequences.
