Every human being has the potentiality to achieve freedom but this not only depend on him alone. The society man lives in and the sort of education he gets plays a key role in shaping his quest for freedom. Just like education opens up Jonas’ to realize that every being is set a part, he’s a distinct entity with a conspicuous individuality and there can never exist a universal conformity in society across all men. This makes him fight to exist independently despite the oppressive rules, attain his freedom to individuality and even conscience. Freedom when actualized, has far reaching effects on happiness.
