My name is Wararat. I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. I just graduated from Srinakharinwirot University in Computer Science. I had been a part of Concordia since I was young. I came here on school holidays, because my aunt worked here. I really liked staying here, because I met many friends. My friends in Concordia lived in community near Bangna Highway. My aunt always taught me that we should help each other. Some of my friends had cerebral palsy, but I never felt that they were different. I thought we were all innocent. We could play together, and it was very fun. I have very valuable childhood memories. I have learned a lot of things in Concordia. I learnt about God's story. We were fostered from this place that, “Everyone should look upon yourself as having value then you will be proud and you will always have good thinking and doing good things.” I also did many activities with my friends. I went to skills development camp, and I had a very good relationship with friends. I got experiences from role-playing, and singing on Christmas day too. There are many volunteer teachers from abroad, that helped us increase our knowledge and success. All of volunteer teachers didn’t expect us to clever students. Ms. Nelson, was the first teacher that I was impressed by. She was aware of the importance of children. She had a commitment, and willingness to work with the hearts of children in the communities. She made me like English, and made me want to learn of the culture of the west. For this reason, I have my dream. If I had the opportunity to visit these countries, I would. I want to say a big thank you to Ms. Thaweesin, many children in Concordia called her, “kru Dang.” She is the one who thinks about the importance of under privileged children.
