There were many known reasons for the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Some main causes of the fall of the Western Roman Empire were the invasions, unemployment, abundance of slaves, overpopulation and the spread of Christianity. This all had caused a series of problems that Rome had faced and had a big impact on Rome society. Historians have blamed the collapse on hundreds of different factors ranging from military failures to taxation and evolving to natural disasters and resulting to climate change. Essentially in Rome, they have many problems politically occurring in the Roman Empire.
