In the story, "The Giver," you get to understand many important things about life itself if you really try to, for example in this essay I am going to talk about the society in this story, in the ways that it is bad and good, and if it should be implemented in our lives. In this society there are many sets of rules one must follow for example families must have exactly two children one male and one female, also people are not allowed to be out of their houses after a determined hour, and at the start of every day the citizens of this city must have an injection that keeps them from being “different”. Maybe living in a utopian society might feel like the best at first but you probably will be missing on a lot of things, in the story to have a utopian society means they had to basically stop having fun and converting everyone into sameness, a plan that eradicated emotional depth from their live. This society is believed to be perfect and with everything under control, which
