Anti-Abortion Organizations

There are thousands of organizations across the United States and they all have one common goal. The goal is to help keep Abortion completely illegal in all fifty states. Most of these organizations are mainly religious motivated such as, but not limited to The Catholic church, The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, and The Southern Baptist convention. This however does not mean that all organizations against it are motivated by following a moral religious code. There are still many organization the are against Abortion, but are only against it because of the belief that every American deserves to the pursuit and happiness of their own life. Some of these organizations are National Right to Life, Operation rescue, and The Pro-life action league. The Catholic Church has apparently indoctrinated themselves with teachings that are completely against even the idea of spreading sodomy, which means to have intercourse without the intention of bearing children. The Catholic church even has a manifesto on the views the bishops have in regard to abortion on usccb.com (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops). It reads as follows: “God loves each human life from the instant of his or her conception and entrusts this gift to the protection of a mother and father. Abortion ends the life of a child and offends God. It also deeply wounds the men and women involved.” The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is another Christian organization completely against abortion unless the mother is in life threatening conditions. Life threatening conditions as in the mother will be in danger of losing her life, or the mother is in danger of suffering a chronic illness. The Church also feels that cases of rape and incest are also acceptable seeing as taking care of the child might be a mental burden on the mother.
