What TV channels did you watch decades ago? What was your mobile phone shape or size, or didn't you have one? Was it difficult or easy to contact others in your city? Was it easy to know what was going on in the world? Surely, life wasn't the same decades ago, media wasn't as strong and efficient as these days. Let us ask ourselves, why? The answer is "the magical world technology." Some companies began to create special media that enabled people all over the world to know what is going in the Hot Spots. BBC & MBC were one of these companies who adopted the free bold media. Therefore, this report will show which company is more successful be look at the differences and similarities between BBC & MBC, including in their history, services and future plans. The first point of similarity and difference between BBC and MBC is history. BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) is the world's oldest broadcasting company and it is an old company established in 1922 in London by John Reith. It works under the British Royal Charter. Its main responsibility is to provide free broadcasting services. BBC has 10 channels and 59 radio stations and it has more than 23,000 employees with 2000 journalists and 48 offices, 41 of them are in foreign lands. On the other hand, MBC (Middle East Broadcasting Center) is the first private free satellite broadcasting company in the Arab World and it's a new company established in 1991 in London by Sheikh Waleed Bin Ibrahim; it moved to Dubai in 2002. "MBC is the largest and most-watched Arabic language network in the Arab world, known as 'The CNN of the Arab World'" (History of MBC TV, 2014, para.7.). And within 23 years MBC added 12 channels, 2 radio stations and a production house to form a global media group improving people's lives through information, interaction and entertainment.
