“Why won’t you let me get a new controller? You haven’t let me get anything new in forever and I know you have the money to be able to pay for a new controller,” Liam questioned his mother. When Liam saw the red target logo on the huge light-brown building right off the highway, he got super excited. For a long time, he had wanted to get a new controller for his PlayStation 3 but every time his mother had taken him to the store she said no. Liam had been doing extra chores for the past 3 weeks, hoping it would show his mother that he was responsible and deserved a new controller. The controller he wanted was special and different from the other controllers as it wasn’t just a single color; it was a military digital-camouflage with a mixture of blacks, browns, and greys. After Liam’s mother had parked and they had walked into the Super Target, Liam asked his mother, “Hey mom, can we go to the Electronics before you start your shopping? I want to show you something and you might need time to figure out if you’re going to let me get it.” “Sure, I guess we can go to the Electronics.
