“A learning environment is a combination of social and physical qualities that create the classroom experience. It includes classroom management procedures, as well as the way the space is organized, furnished and maintained” (Firestone, n.d). Learning environment is important because they help students learn and help the teacher to teach. In this essay, I will discuss the physical environment, the physical environment and the classroom management. The physical environment is the characteristics of classroom. An example of this is, size of classroom, lighting, colors, tables, etc. Firstly, the area of the class must be appropriate for student so they will feel comfortable in the class. A good distribution of the lights in class especially for student in the back they will see the blackboard clearly. Inappropriate lights cause exhaustion and fatigue for student’s eyes. To provision the vigor and vitality for student must ventilate the class. Moreover, student interacts with class color unaware so, we must choose colors that makes student happy and active in the class. Furthermore, class floor mustn’t cause noise it should be smooth surface. In addition, the class organization also important, the tables must be in the form of groups because it makes students collaborate and discussion the lesson with each other. In fact, the materials must organize in storages so the students and teacher can get the materials easily. Each center must have own storage so the materials will not be in the mess. For the safety of students should be placed acute materials far away from them and put first aid if anything happened for students. When I was in teaching practice, the area of class very good, students can move smoothly in the class. In the morning they used to open the windows so sunlight can enter in class.
