You might start to think, “I am not pretty enough” or “I’m too fat”. We all know that this is discouraging to be labeled, but we have to hold our heads up high, ignore their hateful comments, accept ourselves for who we truly are and we shouldn’t let anyone change us into something we are not. Bullying can reach a point where it turns deadly; some people may commit suicide since they hate themselves so much, or in some cases the victim can turn and kill the bully. Bullying can destroy your life. Bullying in schools is known to be common in the majority of schools in the world. It can happen to anyone at any given time. Some people don’t speak out against bullying or cause an intervention if they even see someone being bullied. Being bullied can hurt a person mentally and physically and is psychologically harmful to both the bully and the victim. Therefore, bullying must be eliminated from schools by raising awareness and increasing supervision among both kids and adults. Bullying is a serious problem; in fact 1 in 4 teens are bullied (which is a terrible thing). As mentioned before suicide has become an alternative to the victims of bullying. Bullying can happen in person or through various forms of technology. A problem within bullying is that some teachers, parents, and other students don’t realize how serious bullying can become. According to www.stompoutbullying.org playground statistics show that “every 7 minutes a child is bullied. Adult intervention: 4% Peer intervention: 11%. No intervention: 85%”. They also said “80% of the time, an argument with a bully will end up in a physical fight.” This can become discouraging to the victim to attend school or ant public place and the chances of them receiving help and intervention from
