Injuries occur in every sport, where a play is in the moment of being put into place and a competitor either takes a risk of making a difference not just for his performance but for the change of an outcome of a game, or because something went wrong during the play of the game. Either way, no one can’t deny that injuries can happen at anytime and do affect the player and overall a team in any perspective of any sport. For example, Soccer is one of those main sports that make it open to get injured at any given moment but at the same time, can also be prevented. Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world, with respect to the other sports that are as famous as Soccer. Like in any other sport, soccer requires plenty of excessive force through your body like running, using your body to have a little bump competition with an opponent and the use of your Legs to kick the ball and to also slide, dribble and control the ball. Some of the most common injuries as posted on FIFA’s official website that usually occur during Soccer matches are Ankle, Knee, Hamstring and as being brought up lately, Concussion Injuries (FIFA). Other injuries play in the play of a soccer match but these listed are the most known common injuries most likely to happen during a soccer match. What is more important to know is according to a Statistical report from the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System, their recent report has reported that there was about as high as their first reported stats, which was taken in the late 1990’s. The first report, reported that most injuries reported between the ages of 5-14 years old and 15-24 years old had a slighter smaller percentage of injuries.
