It can be a single production, or more popularly, a series of related television shows. Every nation has their own way of showing their diverse TV programs, depicting their culture and values. Four popular nations are looked at here as a representation of diverse television industry. American television has always been a role model to countries television networks or persuade them to make similar types of shows. Apart from this it is said that a number of famous American programs have been taken from other countries, specifically from Netherlands, the Canada and United Kingdom. The top networks usually offer a morning news program, with CBS This Morning, NBC's Today and ABC's Good Morning America, even early evening shows are anchored by the de facto face of the network's news department like Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather in CBS; Chet Huntley, David Brinkley and Tom Brokaw in NBC; and Peter Jennings in ABC.
