Democracy is often defined as the government of the people, for the people and by the people. However, this form of government, which has lasted over time until now, has several problems to solve. Winston Churchill, an important English politician in the Second World War, said: “Democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried." The biggest ambiguity is what some people think is the best advantage of democracy, which is that the majority of the population is represented. What happens with the minority? They have the same right to be represented than the others; quality is more important than quantity. In a hypothetical situation, if most people of Spain decide to refuse the public education, people who were against, must settle down as they are not represented. Despite the fact that not everyone has all she or he wants why some people have and others not? Other polemic issue about the democratic system that we have is the lack of the possibility of choosing our representatives; we vote for a Party, which is composed by people, which are supposed to have similar ideology and ideas. Although, if they must show a unique opinion, why are they so many? All the money wasted in their salaries could be approached as a measure to overcome the famous crisis. According to that, once you have taken the trouble to vote for that Party, all they have to do is follow a hoped political schedule, which they will change with total impunity. One of the most important troubles of this topic is the capability of the average person to know how good a representative is for their interests.
