From the days of Myspace I have always wondered how the creation and development of internet based sites came about. How was such an idea managed and strengthened till it gradually faded. Then came Facebook which brought about another level of interaction via the internet which till today has evolved on a social level. But on a business level I hardly knew a site that traded or did business transaction via the web. Maybe at the time the use of internet was limited to only the rich who could afford phones and desktop computers at the time but gradually I learnt of Amazon which in my heart of hearts I always thought it was search engine like Google guess my use of the internet was poor at the time. Finally, my fascination for the knowledge of internet was fed slowly and I gradually understood a bit about its technical side but never knew the business side but once awareness was made through the “EBay” which brought about questions like how is transaction made? Where do they get the products from? What makes the images this fine? Those questions didn’t get any immediate answers and I wasn’t aware that they could be found in one word “E-Commerce”. E-Commerce is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. To me transactions and deals made via the use of an internet enabled phone was something “too good to be true” but it so happened. One of the keys to its growth in E-Commerce is Connectivity which is the interaction of two bodies for the purpose of business which is mainly done via the internet. Everyone loves fashion and to be able to buy them with just a click away was joy to behold. This lead to the increase of internet users and the demand for an outlet to satisfy the foreseen need gave birth to Konga which was a dream of a man who before running the race of life already knew where he wanted to end up and we all know where he and the dream is right now. Konga is the engine of trade and commerce in Africa. Konga
