When my child was 10 months old, we noticed during the choir portion at church she would start bouncing up and down in my lap. That excitement she had continued to reveal itself when a song would come on in the car or music commercial would come on TV and she would start dancing. When my child was in pre-school, she was in a Christmas program we parents were invited to attend. The other kids on stage were terrified and forgot the motions to the songs, but my child danced, and sang her little heart out with the biggest smile on her face. She should be chosen to this program because of her passion and love for music. She is the perfect candidate for this program. This program offers hands on workshops for learning music, how to play different instruments, as well as playing different genres. Additionally, this program offers guest speakers from the surrounding colleges, and considering that my daughter looks like she is headed in the direction of music education, I would love to expose her to future avenues. This program heightens the love, passion, and interest these kids have for music. Also this program shows them they can go to school and become a music teacher and teach other kids about their love and passion they have for music.
